I started working in a bank sector as a digital support specialist. This job is really new to me which makes me struggle to get things done and provide support to the relevant teams and customers. After 3 months of probation, I could see a lot of feedback from my boss about my performance. After the feedback, I committed that I have to change I have to improve. Here is some tips to make me work better and provide better support.

  1. Seeking feedback from your colleague and especially your boss

When I’m talking about seeking feedback, I am referring to constructive feedback. A constructive feedback means telling you what is wrong and what to make it right. Ask your relevant team or your internal team for feedback and what you will need to improve to work effectively.

2. Do research about your field of work

Whatever field are you working in, always seeks out information to improve your work. You can just go to Google and look for “How to be better at customer services” for example. You might find a lot of information. But make sure you implement those idea. Don’t just looking for how, also apply it to your work.

3. Ask question (Productive question)

Always seek for improvement in each task you do. For example, if you are working on an email to your boss or to the high level management in one organization, you can ask “ What can I do to write a better email”. This is the question which opens your brain to start thinking.
