Work hard, then work smart

I first started working in the bank sector as a junior product support specialist. At that time I have no idea what I would do and how I would do it well. I spent 4 months for the probation period before I could successfully pass and do the job.

After just two months after the probation, I have promoted to a senior level and to a deputy head of a unit. Here is what I did to get promoted faster.

Know what your team is trying to do

Knowing a team’s goal is the fundamental key to success in your career. Or we can say that know why you are employed..

Your boss is your friend

By this, I mean that don’t be afraid of your boss. Talk to him/her ask for their feedback or idea to improve what you do or your team's performance. You can ask him/her in private or sending him/her an email to ask for what you should improve to make things better.

Research on what you do

In case you want to improve your works, you can also google or do research on the subject you do. There are millions of ideas you can choose to improve yourself.

Help your boss

Help your boss do their basic task or delegate some of their tasks. You are not trying to get attention from your boss, but this is also a way to improve yourself.
